Dentistry
At our hospital we recognize that periodontal disease is the most common and the most preventable
infectious disease in the world. Therefore, we offer free dental estimates and personalized dental
packages consisting of pre-anesthesia blood work, antibiotics and a complete prophylactic dental
procedure that involves subgingival scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments by our skilled technical
staff.
Surgical Services
Using the safest anesthesia protocols and current heart
monitoring technology, we offer a variety of up-to-date
surgical procedures performed in our spacious surgical
suite. Some procedures include neutering, ocular, aural,

Ultrasound
Ultrasound is a diagnostic tool that uses sound waves to
visualize the size and structure of internal organs. An
ultrasound is typically used instead of or in conjunction
with x-rays to diagnose pathological conditions in
animals. Typical scans involve abdominal organs such as the liver, kidneys, spleen, bladder and intestines, lymph nodes, the heart, and soft tissue masses on any part of
the body. The benefits of ultrasound are that it is painless and non-invasive.

Prenatal ultrasounds can be performed to assess fetal health and estimate the age of the fetuses.
An ultrasound scan can take from 15-45 minutes. Animals should not be fed prior to their ultrasound, as a full stomach can interfere with a scan. Mild sedation may be necessary to allow a thorough scan to be performed.

Digital Radiography
Pinetree Animal Hospital has upgraded to a digital x-ray system.
The benefits of this system are that is quicker than conventional
x-rays and the images can be manipulated and stored
electronically. In addition, the hazardous waste products used in
conventional x-rays are no longer used.

We offer additional services to our clients such as boarding
anal gland expression, bathing, nail trims,and ear cleaning.
